As a Project Manager within the Greene King Property department, you will be managing, maintaining and improving our Investment programme with greater cost efficiency whilst maintaining Customer First and Brand aligned approach to delivering Industry leading assets.

Job Description

Please be aware this role is a national field based position

As a Project Manager you will...

  • Work effectively with Operations, Brand Teams, Property & Finance to ensure successful delivery of projects, with accurate reporting of expenditure and programme
  • Provide challenge where required on scheme design or construction costs where it does not add to the overall offer
  • To participate in the selection of outsourced support and develop a framework agreement to deliver best value and ensure compliance with required SLAs
  • To ‘Champion’ specific designs, ensuring that the brand design is developed and regularly reviewed and updated, and the Lead Designers are communicating all updates to other approved Designers.
  • To establish best practice and common procedures and agree appropriate review process to ensure continued improvements are achieved.
  • To participate in industry bodies and maintain awareness of trends, opportunities, and changes to design & construction best practice.

What you'll bring...

  • Experience of maintaining the asset value of the property to enhance, refine and improve its presentation and operating effectiveness
  • Strong leadership providing vision and direction for the project team, with coaching and mentoring as needed
  • Excellent communication: clear, concise, and confident in interactions across all business levels
  • Effective stakeholder management, swiftly assessing information and autonomously proposing solutions
  • Effective decision-making
  • Demonstrated expertise in both project management and people management within project settings
  • Self starter who is able to adopt appropriate approaches to suit different situations and differing audiences 
  • Previous experience in multi-site pub / leisure developments is desirable 

Qualifications

Ideally hold a professional industry recognised qualification: RICS, MBEng, CIOB or similar.
