The Asset Optimisation team is the foundation of the company wide strategic driver to unlock value through making the most of our assets. The Portfolio Planning Manager supports the business in Estate Reviews, Segmentation work Transfer and Asset swap planning processes in line with the Asset Optimisation Strategic goals and annual capex planning processes. They will develop value added Insights using location planning / demographic expertise and integrated surveys of competitors geographical and sales & customer trends to support the business with recommendations to achieve long term strategic development targets.

- Proactively influence key Property, Operational and Financial Executive stakeholders in strategic estate development decisions based on sound asset segmentation recommendations to support our strategic goal on Asset Optimisation
- Produce timely, cohesive, strategic, and commercial reviews of pub catchments, demographic profiling to help define the best use of each Greene King assets working closely with the branding, financial and operational teams to support the delivery of the corporate capital plan / asset swap / transfer opportunities.
- Conduct competitor reviews in line with strategic planning using expertise and data of strategic third-party agencies and research companies
- Ensure analysis and recommendations are robust by using a full range of appropriate tools, analytic techniques and input from other areas/ divisions within GK (e.g. bespoke customer analysis, post investment reviews, sensitivities, customer research, Financial Appraisals, etc.).
- Batchelors degree, ideally in Geography, Economics, Mathematics or Town Planning
- Advanced IT especially Excel Skills
- Core knowledge of GIS, e.g. functionality and systems capabilities such as Mapinfo, Experian, MG3 or CACI InSite
- Experience in use of Data Analysis Tools, Such as Alteryx, SAP, SPSS, Power BI or Excel Macros & SQL Language Skills
