As the Operational Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for delivering multiple, concurrent projects as part of the Operational Excellence Programme. This programme is designed to accelerate functional cost efficiency work streams through the framework of the cross-Group forum, that meet business cost reduction targets.
Using data-led operational simplification work streams, you'll deliver commercial, multi-disciplinary projects that release capacity, combat cost inflation, helping us achieve our strategic objectives. You'll achieve this by building and leading high performing project teams that break down complex cross-functional change into manageable deliverables with clear end-to-end plans.
You'll work across all functions and divisions in the business, engaging and influencing the right stakeholders to build a way of working in Greene King that makes efficiency part of our business-as-usual.

Job Description
In your role as Operational Excellence Lead you will...
- Manage and deliver multiple projects with cross-functional SME input
- Define and gain agreement to the project business case using clear cost/benefit analysis
- Work with senior stakeholders across all functions to define project scope, goals and deliverables, and document in project brief and initiation documentation
- Define and gain commitment to activities across the business required to embed the changes delivered by the project
- Manage criteria for success and key performance indicators (KPIs) that will measure or demonstrate whether business objectives have been realised
What you’ll bring…
- Highly experienced in stakeholder management and the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Commercially astute, with the ability to demonstrate clear customer value and business benefits that lead to return on investment
- Ability to deliver holistic change across technology, people and processes
- Demonstrable experience in delivering multiple, concurrent commercially-focused projects for a fast-paced, high-growth, complex business
- Experience in either Hospitality or Retail essential
