As our business grows, so does our team! We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic full-time Kitchen Team Leader to help support our Kitchen Manager and team in delivering delicious meals and continuing to grow food sales.
As a Kitchen Team Leader, you’ll be punctual, hard-working, and diligent, leading by example to ensure a great quality meal for every guest, whilst supporting the Kitchen Manager with stock and ordering, and always maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and cleanliness.
The Governor's House is a recently invested pub with restaurant, ten hotel rooms, and a large outside area, and we're always on the hunt for great people to join our amazing team to continue driving the business forwards further.

Job Description
As a Kitchen Team leader, you will…
- Work alone and as part of a team as part a mixed shift pattern to include some closes;
- Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations;
- Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors;
- Deputise for the Kitchen Manager and resolve any issues that arise in their absence;
- Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service making sure everything runs like clockwork.
