As a Head of People, you'll partner with the Managing Director and their leadership team, create and bring to life a compelling ‘People Vision’ for Venture Hotels that supports the commercial ambitions of the business. Ensure a ‘5 star’ Team Member experience through People initiatives, so they can in turn provide memorable experiences for our hotel customers.
Your role as Head of People
- This is a key role within the Venture Hotels Group leadership team, partnering with the Managing Director and their direct reports.
- As a Member of the Venture Hotels leadership team, work as a trusted partner to support and advise the Managing Director and their leadership team
- Accountable for the build, design and execution of the People Vision, Strategy and Plan for the business.
- Responsible for all People activity across the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to Reward, Resourcing, Talent, and Learning.
- Responsible for partnering with the Division to realise returns from capital investment and acquisition programmes, building capacity and capability amongst teams in order to deliver the business growth strategy.
- Accountable for ensuring the Division is risk free from a people perspective, delivering its obligations to Greene King in that its Safe, Clean and Legal standards are always met.
What you'll bring
- An experienced HR Partner/ Leader, with a wide range of generalist experience across all areas of HR, including but not limited to; People Planning, Organisational Design and Restructure, Cultural Change, TUPE, and Employee Lifecycle Management
- Experience in the Hotel or Hospitality industry with Operational knowledge and an approach to the business to help operational excellence, leadership, attraction and development
- Ability to partner Managing Director to develop Venture Business leadership and management team
- Strong all-round communication skills including delivery and presentation of information to all levels, as well as regular presenting to Senior Management and Management Teams
- Experience creating multi year People Vision/ Strategies/ Plans
