Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to join our dynamic team in Leicester, United Kingdom. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations, driving growth, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

  • Collaborate with the business development manager and management team to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and profitability
  • Lead by example, embodying our brand values and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to exceed customer expectations
  • Champion brand standards and maintain a strong focus on customer and team safety
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, maintaining very high standards and attention to detail in all aspects of the business
  • Analyse financial data and manage P&L effectively to drive business success
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and individual growth
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and community partners

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in a General Manager role, preferably in the hospitality, retail, or fast-paced service industry
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong business acumen and experience in P&L management
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and improve operational performance
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Very high standards and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of business management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in business management software and tools
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Resilient and goal-oriented approach to overcoming obstacles
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
