As an FP&A Manager based from either our Bury, Burton or London offices you will be joining our Partnerships & Ventures division which is an exciting Pubs growth division with organic brand swaps and acquisitions planned. With this will come a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for development. The FP&A Manager role is a key member of the Partnerships & Ventures Finance team, supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director to ensure the financial integrity of the Partnerships & Ventures P&L and balance sheet, proactively supporting the business to better understand performance drivers and playing a vital role in the delivery of key reporting and planning processes.

Your role as an FP&A Manager
- Expertise in producing financial commentaries of high quality and accuracy. Able to succinctly articulate drivers of financial performance.
- Manage consolidation of weekly financial results for P&V Division, reviewing upon production by FP&A analyst before distribution to multi-level stakeholders of P&V.
- Lead on Ventures period end review activities, co-ordinating review activity across all Venture businesses, taking ownership of key issues as they arise. Representing Ventures at cross divisional period end close review meetings. Preparation of key drivers of period result for FC/ FD sign-off.
- Production of Periodic Financial Commentary, preparing summary packs for FC/ FD review before distribution to the multi-level stakeholders of P&V.
- Production of P&V consolidated Monthly Business Review pack, including collation and consolidation of commentaries and tables from 6 business units including quality and content review. Includes production of unified reporting encompassing multiple data sources and P&L structures.
- Collation of P&V financial outputs during the year, including Risks & Opportunities consolidation, strategic plan and budgeting, liaising with each of the Pub Partners & Venture teams when required to deliver a combined view of performance.
- Liaise with Managed Reporting, Deployment (team costs), other FP&A teams and other areas as required to ensure a unified approach where appropriate across Managed divisions.
- Be the P&V expert on Investments, including Development Capex, Acquisitions, Ops Capital, Repairs, and annual budgeting. Collation of P&V development programme.
- Ensure inclusion of Hickory’s arms-length business with all aspects of work. Requires flexibility in incorporation of non-Greene King data in standard GK reporting and templates.
- Act as deputy for the FC, covering meetings and workload when they are not available.
- Line management responsibility for 1 x FP&A analyst.
What you'll bring...
