As an FP&A Analyst you will be joining our Partnerships & Ventures division which is an exciting Pubs growth division with organic brand swaps and acquisitions planned. With this will come a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for development. The FP&A Analyst role is a key member of the Partnerships & Ventures Finance team, supporting the Finance Manager and Financial Controller to ensure the financial integrity of the Partnerships & Ventures P&L and balance sheet, proactively supporting the business to better understand performance drivers and playing a vital role in the delivery of key reporting and planning processes.

Job Description

Your role as an FP&A Analyst:

  • Play a key role in the period end process, ensuring the financial integrity of reported accounts.
  • Production and development of timely weekly and periodic performance reporting to a high degree of accuracy
  • Lead continuous improvements in financial processes and controls.
  • Assist Financial Controller to review, understand and challenge balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Be the key contact for the Ventures division and Finance Shared Services Team
  • Managing the collation of consolidated reporting, forecasts, and budgets for the Division.
  • Ad-hoc analysis, support and cover to individual P&V business units as required.
  • Act as deputy for the Finance Manager, covering meetings and workload as required.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a formal accountancy qualification from a recognised accounting body at a part qualified / fully qualified level.
  • Experience in financial reporting and analytical roles, preferably in retail businesses would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience in period end reviews, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations desired.
