Company Description

The primary purpose of the Data Analyst is to provide reporting and valuable insight for the Property team.  Primarily using data from the repairs & maintenance system Pulse (MS365), the successful candidate will be the key provider of reports and analysis.  

The aim is to provide investigative analysis on trends, behaviours and forecasting from Pulse data with the aim to enable better decision making and support the overall Property strategy as well as creating KPI reports to monitor Property Services performance.

This is 14 month Fixed Term Contract

This role  is Professional Salary Banding

In your role as Data Analyst you will...

  • Support the migration of Pulse (MS365) to the cloud. This will include storing Pulse data in a data intelligence platform; if you currently use Databricks even better 
  • Collect and analyse large datasets with an aim to provide insight and recommendations 
  • Prepare reports for periodic meetings for internal and external audiences using a range of reporting tools 
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations to enhance KPI reporting 
  • Support the Pulse To Cloud upgrade with system testing and support the migration of Pulse data into Databricks, working with IT Data Architects  
  • Use established business intelligence reporting to further enhance Pulse datasets and cross-reference reports to provide better insight 
  • Responsibility for the Pulse (MS365) database including quality, accuracy, maintenance and appropriate use of data

What you'll bring...

  • Analytical skills, inquisitive by nature, a keen problem solver with a proactive approach 
  • Ability to collect and analyse large datasets, presenting findings in easy to interpret format, with your excellent attention to detail with a highly organised approach 
  • You are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and if you don't already use PowerBI, SQL/Python, then be willing to learn
  • Good understanding of relational databases and data modelling
