Job description
As a communications manager, you will develop and deliver an effective campaign and content strategy aligned with the Internal Communications strategy, providing targeted, relevant, high-quality communications that resonate and build advocacy among Team Members across the organisation. You’ll be supporting the business to achieve its goals, bringing team members on the journey, ensuring representation of all areas and providing a consistent, trustworthy voice for Greene King.

Your role as Communications Manager
- Develop comprehensive, forward-thinking communication plans that support the overall IC strategy in embedding our company purpose, values and culture, building engagement and a positive working culture
- Partner with various teams and key stakeholders across the business to create effective communication plans, and plan and deliver compelling and engaging content across our central communication channels
- Ensure a regular, timely and targeted flow of news and information through the organisation that is aligned with strategic and external communications plans
- Provide a voice to Team Members through digital channels and find innovative ways to reach them directly, facilitating two-way conversation
- Work closely with the Corporate Affairs team and Ops Comms to gather content and advise on delivery of messages
- Ensure our internal tone of voice and style are consistent and genuine across all channels
- Continuously develop and innovate communications channels to ensure we are reaching all Team Members across the business
What you’ll bring…
- An experienced communicator with exemplary writing skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt messaging according to the audience
- Excellent storytelling, creative and innovative mindset
- Solid understanding of a range of communications disciplines
- Digitally savvy with a solid understanding of how to maximise the use of digital content and platforms
- Strong partnership and stakeholder management abilities, with expertise in influencing board level stakeholders and managing external agencies
- Extensive experience in Internal Communications, working in large, fast-paced organisations
