As our business grows, so does our team! We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to help grow our kitchen team as we continue to drive food sales forward and deliver delicious meals to our guests. 

As a Chef, you’ll be punctual, hard-working, and diligent, helping to ensure a great quality meal for every guest, and always maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and cleanliness.  

The Governor's House is a recently invested pub with restaurant, ten hotel rooms, and a large outside area, and we're always on the hunt for great people to join our amazing team to continue driving the business forwards further.

As a Chef, you will…

• As a Chef, you will… 

• Work alone and as part of a team as part a mixed shift pattern to include some closes; 

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations;  

• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of the entire team and visitors; 

• Keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions

What you’ll bring to the kitchen:

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time
• Willingness to get stuck in, learn new skills and help out in different areas kitchen when needed

At least one year's experience in a chef role is essential.
