This is a key role within the HR Team. As part of the Recruitment Delivery team, the Recruiter will deliver all recruitment for their relevant area whilst collaborating with TA Business Partnering team where required. A relevant area could be defined as either geographically aligned to support PLT recruitment or business aligned to support corporate entry level recruitment. From receiving the initial request to hire the Recruiter will own the recruitment process by bringing in talented individuals into the business.
You will provide an excellent experience for the line manager and candidate alike and ensure we bring the best talent into the business using innovative and cost-effective methods where possible. You will enhance the employer brand within your area and be a subject matter expert for the market you recruit in and the ‘go to’ within the business for your relevant area.

Your role as Recruiter
- Responsible for the delivery of outstanding candidate and Hiring Manager experience for recruitment in your relevant area. Delivery of end to end hiring process from initial role brief, through candidate application and selection.
- Consult, advise and support Hiring Managers on best practice, process knowledge and taking positive measures to ensure we drive an inclusive, fair, and unbiassed recruitment process.
- Proactive sourcing across multiple channels I.e. LinkedIn projects, talent insights, CV databases. Establish and manage the most effective channels for building a talent pool, including sharing of social media awareness campaigns.
- Updates all relevant recruitment systems to keep data clean and drive-up high candidate experience, using workflows and available tools i.e self-scheduling correctly.
- Responsible for generating and follow up on candidate leads through various channels.
- Integral in delivering innovative and creative initiative's that elevate Greene King to become the employer of choice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with across Hiring Managers, and wider TA team.
- Become a trusted and valued expert for Hiring Managers to understand recruitment trends within your relevant area by analysing market trends.
- Work closely with the wider TA team to highlight hard-to-recruit roles, bottlenecks and priority vacancies to fill.
- Support initiatives like silver medallists and referrals to ensure our candidate pipeline is robust and supports our future talent objectives.
- Support with Holiday/absence cover where needed.
- Promote and build awareness of the wider Apprenticeship and other social mobility programmes.
- Manage general recruitment inboxes and ad hoc recruitment tasks as required for Pub leadership and entry level corporate roles.
What you’ll bring…
- Experience in utilising data to inform and guide recruitment decisions
- Selection skills including screening, interviewing and assessment centres is ideal
- Experience of using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn & talent insights
- Head-hunting – experience of generating and sourcing leads
- Ability to sell the company, brand and role
- Talent Acquisition systems experience
- Experience within hospitality or retail operations is desirable
- Social Media - candidate attraction is desirable
- Relevant and meaningful experience in Hiring manager business partnering is desirable
