As an Activity Manager you will assure execution of activity at site level through effective capture, planning and review of central activity and projects, through expert stakeholder management with central functions and divisional Ops Comms teams.

Job Description

Your role as Activity Manager

  • Develop and maintain effective activity review mechanisms with central stakeholders (ATC Reps) – so previously planned activity is reviewed, and any new activity is captured and fed in to the Activity Plan
  • Maintain the overarching Activity Plan so that all key central and divisional stakeholders can at any time review current and future planned activity
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with divisional Ops Comms teams so that activity is ready to be handed over for comms to sites in a seamless fashion
  • Provide consultation to central stakeholders (ATC Reps) when planning new activity to support them in delivering effective execution and adoption of activity / projects
  • Proactively manage central stakeholders (ATC Reps) to ensure that all activity in the Activity Plan is manageable, flagging risks / clashes to the Head of Central Pub Services
  • Where required, produce adhoc communications for the business (although primarily comms will be completed by Ops Comms teams or Internal Comms.

What you’ll bring… 

  • Understands the operational impact of proposed activity and makes recommendations accordingly
  • Strong partnering skills with senior stakeholders
  • Great at building relationships and influencing at all levels, through listening and adjusting communication style to meet the needs of the audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong understanding of comms channels and governance to the business
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, able to work across multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • An analytical strength that can present data in a straight forward, compelling way with tangible output.
