Company Description

We are looking for a superstar Marketing Manager to join our exciting new Hotels division! If you have marketing experience within the hotel sector, love the finer details and want to create joyful moments and connections for guests, then please get in touch today.

This is a pivotal role in delivering the Hotel’s Group strategy. Working closely with the Head of Marketing this role will drive our Brand Management and Marketing approach to grow reach, increase relevance, and deepen relationships with our target customers in the Upscale Hotel sector. The Marketing Manager Upscale– is responsible for managing our new Upscale Hotel brand, co-ordinating workstream activities for new openings and investments, and driving commercial performance in the estate through a cohesive, innovative, and agile plan of activity across all marketing channels at a national and local level.  The role will have a heavy focus on F&B marketing activation at a local level supporting site GMs in driving restaurant revenue through a planned programme of local marketing activities. This is a “hands-on” role with the requirement to regularly review KPIs (revenue, covers, SPH) and develop responsive tactical activities to drive site level performance.

Job Description

Your role as a Marketing Manager:

  • Ownership of the Upscale brand guest experience delivered through consistent application of visual identity and the design blueprint at property and through all marketing communications. 
  • Oversee and manage the development and launch of all capex investments ensuring effective MarComms programme in place to deliver successful launch in new locations and optimise ROI in line with targets. 

  • Key interface on openings/investments will include Openings Manager, Openings GM, Project Manager, Commercial and Revenue teams, Operations and F&B teams. 

  • Works closely with the Head of Marketing to develop the overall omni-channel marketing strategy for the Venture Hotel’s Group division with specific focus on Upscale Hotel Brand.  As well as supporting the development and implementation of innovative and effective Marketing plans that deliver agreed brand and commercial objectives. 

  • Develop and deliver the marketing plan and strategies, to drive awareness, consideration and drive interest and sales, in line with the Upscale Hotel Brand’s proposition. 

  • Oversee the initiation, execution and measurement of Omnichannel campaigns through creative, delivery, commercial & stakeholder engagement. 

  • Ensure cohesive plans in place across the full marketing mix; including social, CRM, email, web, app, organic search, paid media, PR and partnerships) aligned to divisional narrative and commercial objectives at a National and local level. 

 

What you’ll bring…

  • Excellent communication skills – written, creative and verbal 

  • Excellent influencing skills coupled with the ability to impact across a variety of stakeholders at all levels 

  • Commercially astute with a strong understanding of financial reports and measuring the ROI of campaigns 

  • Ability to synthesise disparate data and run into actionable insights. 

  • Collaborates effectively across and outside of the business to achieve swift and coordinated delivery of results  

  • Attention to detail in all forms of information sharing and communication.
