An exciting opportunity to join us as our Gaming and Entertainments Manager, you will work on a field basis alongside our Operations team and Senior Gaming & Entertainment Manager to help maximise machines profitability across an area of responsibility.
Your role will be to provide an expert support service to help the Operations team in maximising product mix, density & location and ultimately profit. You will be the lead point of contact with our supply partners conducting business reviews at national levels as well as helping to promote Greene Kings' Environmental, Social Governances Policies around the safe and lawful operation of gaming machines. As Gaming and Entertainments manager you will have national coverage, linking in regularly to our Burton offices.

Your role as Gaming and Entertainments Manager:
You will be one of four Gaming & Entertainment Managers for retail – With responsibility stretching across all Greene King brands
- Deliver the machine P&L within regions of responsibility.
- Assist the Senior Gaming & Entertainment Manager to execute the gaming plan:
- Attend operational meetings to provide updates on progress within the region against the gaming plan.
- Attend area meetings, supporting the Business Development Managers to explain the machine plan and provide and update on key area metrics to their General Managers
- Attend development briefs to agree with the PM, BDM & GM the optimum density, mix and positions for each pub.
- Work with the BDMs to ensure the the highest of standards are met in every business.
- Agree with BDM & GM how best to achieve the right content, right machine, right position in each and every pub.
- Train and coach Business Development Managers and Pub Leadership Teams on all aspects of G&E.
- Manage your own dairy to maximise both administrative responsibilities and time in trade. You will be expected to spend time away from home as and when required
- Hold regular review meetings with our supply partners to monitor the performance of each machine within the region, arranging for game upgrades, cabinet changes and security checks as required.
- Advise OM, BDM and GM on different sales driving options including gaming, competitive socialising and quiz
- Train and coach safer gaming to operational colleagues though meetings and on-line seminars.
