We have a great 16 month FTC Opportunity!

As the Retail Systems Trainer, will be responsible for the delivery, quality and content of the Retail Systems training programme.  This will include:

  • PLT Induction
  • e-Learning content
  • Face to Face Pub / Project training

You will work closely with key IT, Retail & and L&D stakeholders to understand the training requirement of the business and track the effectiveness of the training programme to ensure to ensure the intended benefits are delivered.

Job Description

In your role as Retail Systems Trainer you will….

  • Create, provide ongoing management and delivery of e-learning to the pub leadership teams within the managed Retail estate. This will involve collaborating with the Learning and Development team to schedule online training sessions where appropriate
  • You will collaborate with the wider Retail IT team to ensure that the integration of new technology into business has the relevant training and support
  • Analyse trends across Retail support functions and provide input recommendations regarding additional learning resources or improved support responses
  • The role is based in field based to allow for support to the wider business where required

What you’ll bring… 

  • You can work independently creating online training content with the ability to manage different personality types and learning styles
  • You have a ‘can do’ attitude, tenacity, drive, initiative, and creativity
  • Naturally you are personable and articulate - a strong communicator – written and spoken
  • Confident and credible delivering to large audiences, remaining calm under pressure
  • Flexible with home and field based working
  • Experience of delivering technical training to Management Team level in the retail/leisure/hospitality sector.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, preferably in Greene King.
  • Experience of delivering learning to a multisite workforce.
  • Experience of Aztec and Rezlynx systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft packages.
