Company Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced product owner, who is passionate about putting the customer first and has direct experience operating, scaling and continuously improving multiple Customer Engagement technologies - including a Customer Data Platform (CDP), campaign activation platforms, consent and preference centres - all to ensure customers receive a best-in-class personalised and targeted experience.   

We are on an exciting journey to put the customer at the heart of everything we do. To enable us to do that we are transforming key pieces of marketing technology and have defined a CDP, marketing automation platform and activation technology as one of our group level strategic foundations. Your role will be of utmost importance for us to maximise the value we extract from these platforms to benefit our customers experience and return revenue across our large portfolio of brands. 

As Product Owner you will be responsible for the optimisation of value and use of a CDP and associated marketing technology by defining, prioritising and delivering features and functionalities of all elements in order to unlock value releases and deliver against business goals and ROI targets.  

With a good degree of autonomy and a user-centric approach, you will be responsible for playing a key role in the implementation of at least 2 technology platforms but also driving the platforms to ensure the successful long-term adoption into the digital marketing and IT teams. You will work with a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders on use case assessments, prioritisation, product planning, phasing, scaling and importantly ensuring the benefits are realised. You will also be responsible for leading and championing product methodology into your area and across the business

Job Description

Your role as a Digital Product Owner - Customer Engagement....... 

  • Scaling use cases and being a key contributor to the implementation process in the short, medium and long term 
  • Supporting the strategic use of the Platforms and helping unlock value for multiple areas of the business (including in pub) 
  • Continuous optimisation of the platforms in line with evolving strategic objectives as well as evolving the usage of the platforms as new capability is enabled (not allowing our capability to stand still) 
  • Managing relationships (incl: timelines, budgets and development roadmaps) across our technology partners, internal data teams and end users of the platforms  
  • Management of the work pipeline with the third party to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects  
  • Owning and building optimal working relationships with our SI during  
  • Working closely with end users within the data, IT and digital marketing teams to successfully ember usage and understanding of the new platforms  
  • Cooperate with several teams to define and agree upon the features and functionality required for optimising customer experience through the platforms  
  • Communicate product development to all stakeholders on a regular basis 
  • Champion product methodology for marketing technology 

 

What you will bring......

  • Previous experience in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment 
  • Experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager 
  • Prior experience within an agile working environment 
  • Knowledge of platforms such as mParticle, Treasure Data, Braze, Adobe, dotdigital, Moveable Ink, Validity  
  • Proven experience of working with large organisation system integrators  
  • Proven experience of working with Mar Tech products and Partners  
  • Prior experience in working with large-scale, high volume, real-time customer-centric applications and digital infrastructure 
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship development
