About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager or Management couple to take the helm of Coopers Brook (NG5 6BH).
The Coopers Brook is a substantial and imposing building with great visibility from the road. It looks amazing with a great lighting scheme. There is an enclosed beer garden to one side of the pub and a nice patio on the other. It is co-located with a Premier Inn which shares our car park. Internally the site has a distinct bar area which is separate from the dining spaces. The dining spaces are laid out across a sub divided area and create some really interesting spaces for guests, lending themselves really well to party bookings
There is also a function room which has been refurbished and includes its own bar.
The purpose of your role will be to oversee the whole operation with a commercial eye, whilst always keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do. Leading and developing a large team including managers to achieve their aspirations and showing resilience to adapt to the needs of the business.

You will be an experienced manager or management couple who has a proven track record in food led pub/restaurant business.
Your past success will have been driven through your ability to lead and develop your team so they can exceed the expectations of your customers. You will have a real commercial edge and thrive from having the autonomy to treat the business as your own by attracting new business, growing sales, convert profit and ensuring all standards are of the highest quality.
