Our Assistant Managers come from many different backgrounds. Perhaps you are already a successful Assistant Manager in hospitality, retail or other fast paced industry, or an established team leader ready for the next step.

About the role

Amazing opportunity to operate a well established and successful business within the Shropshire town of Market Drayton.

The Gingerbread Man sits within the Pub & Carvery brand - known for its mouth watering, high quality seven day a week Carvery. Not only do we offer a great quality carvery, the pub also operates a big menu serving pub classics and great grill dishes.

The Gingerbread Man also benefits from a large Wacky Warehouse which is a fantastic asset to draw footfall into the pub. The pub is food led, with Sunday being the busiest day of the week as guests are drawn in for the carvery offer. As one of the only managed houses in the town, this is a great opportunity for an established operator to build on the strong foundations already in place.

The ideal candidate will come from a food led background, ideally carvery but not essential, with a passion for delivering high standards of service and food quality in a timely manner. Experience of managing big teams in different departments is a must. The benefit of the Wacky Warehouse to the business cannot be overstated, and so the successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the Wacky Warehouse brand and its operations.
