Applications Support Analyst

Full-time, permanent position Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:15pm

We are looking for a Applications Support Analyst to join our team to assist with the day to day maintenance and systems administration for our various core business applications.

This role is part of a team of 4, based in Bury St Edmunds; looking after various system users across the UK. This team play a vital part to support our users, sitting within the wider IT team.

Key tasks:
Ensure that all issues are fully understood, managed and resolved within our SLAs.
Identify areas of improvement and lead activities that will increase the team's performance and provide a better service.
Work with all IT teams to resolve issues/risks in the end to end solution.
Work with and manage 3rd party suppliers to identify and resolve issues/risks in a timely fashion.
Support change, incident and problem management processes and group wide user communications.
On-call out of hours assistance required as part of an agreed rota.
Ensure clear documentation is created and maintained as required.

Skills / experience required:

Eager to learn
Experience in a similar environment
Self-motivation
Great communication skills
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to work to deadlines.
Effective influencing skills.
Self-starter with the ability to take ownership.
Ability to work in a team environment.
High level of accuracy with attention to detail.

Flexible working ethos to meet the demands of the job.
System 21 Aurora or similar ERP knowledge
EDI knowledge
Previous experience of IBM SQL
Indigo iWMS Warehouse Management Systems.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM knowledge from a support perspective (cross training will be available).
