Resourcing Partner

This is a key role within the Venture Business's People Team. The Resourcing Partner guides and supports in the delivery of all resourcing needs for the Venture business, leveraging central support where required by building quality relationships across the business.

The Resourcing Partner is responsible for execution of excellent attraction campaigns, acting as an ambassador for the Business both internally and externally, and raising the profile of Greene King as an employer of choice through attracting and selecting an exceptional calibre of applicants.

The Resourcing Partner helps input on and ultimately embed the resourcing elements of the Venture Business's HR agenda, working to deliver the people strategy and championing people innovation. The Resourcing Partner also works closely with the wider central HR team on inputting and then embedding the centrally managed and driven Resourcing programmes as part of the Group People Plan.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of candidate experience for all in-pub roles
  • Providing complete resourcing expertise and support to our operations team in a professional and commercial way, whilst always driving the culture, vision and values of Greene king through a divisional identity lens.
  • Responsible for delivering on recruitment commitments with a focus on raising the profile of brand/division.

Selection & Calibre

  • Responsible for managing candidate application and selection process through utilising our applicant systems, websites, job boards, assessment days and head hunting
  • Ensures right-fit candidates selected for next stages by ensuring match-fit against the relevant brand role-profile
  • Monitor resourcing activity and performance making recommendations to improve calibre on a periodic basis
  • Ensure the company selection tools are effective and line managers are skilled in their use
  • Responsible for the Business Development Managers recruitment, managing interviews and working closely with the Operations Manager/Director
  • Talent bank and support Business Development Managers with interview days for live vacancies where appropriate, ensuring the calibre of hires is continually increasing
  • Ensure all candidates are appropriately screened against selection criteria for roles prior to sending or being added to talent banks

Attraction & Employer Brand

  • Own and grow brand focused talent banks and keep high calibre talent engaged in Hotels Group as well as Greene King.
  • Responsible for generating and follow up on candidate leads through various channels
  • Identify top external talent through regular networking activity
  • Support senior management and management teams in building external relationships that support the talent pool
  • Be integral in delivering innovative and creative industry-leading hiring campaigns that elevate Greene King to become the employer of choice and ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Work in partnership with the wider team across our Managed Pubs Divisions to maintain the profile of recruitment, candidate sharing and delivering through the wider Greene King talent pool
  • Champion and facilitator of recruitment events, as well as external networking/industry understanding to stay connected to the market/trends

People Planning

  • Responsible for embedding the resourcing elements of the divisional people plan through working closely with the Head of People.
  • Partnering the Head of People and management teams on all horizon requirements, people plans, vacancies and capture market intelligence for line managers.
  • Become a trusted and valued expert for BDM's by working with hiring managers to research geographical regions to understand the local market, opportunities and pro-active talent management.

Future Talent

  • Support initiatives to ensure team member pipeline is robust and supports our future talent objectives
  • Promote the Apprenticeship and other social mobility programmes to drive future talent

Person Specification

  • Great at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external, through listening and adjusting communication style to meet the needs of the audience
  • Ability to partner Operations Manager/Director to develop 'best in class' operations team
  • Always seeking to improve quality and service for our internal / external stakeholders
  • Works with colleagues to do what is best for the Company as a whole, ahead of divisional, department or personal goals.
  • Track record of devising and implementing candidate attraction campaigns for bespoke and volume roles
  • Head-hunting - experience of generating and sourcing leads and selection skills including interviewing and assessment centres
