General Manager, Nags Head (L23 1TJ) - Hungry Horse

Salary: £31,500.00 - 36,000.00 + bonus

Joining Hungry Horse as a General Manager is joining a family with over 20 market leading years in the industry. Whilst we are the biggest, our General Managers are helping us become the best. We want to be as famous for our inspirational leaders, as we are for our warm welcomes and fantastic plates of food.

As a General Manager, you can inject your energy and passion to create a business to be proud of; the autonomy and decision making our yours. You'll also be part of the UKs largest Brewery and Pub company, Greene King, so you'll have so many opportunities to progress, and we will support you every step of the way.

Hungry for the challenge? Previous success at General Manager level is desirable; from a hospitality, retail or other fast paced background, and the right attitude and outlook is essential!

About the role

The Nags Head is set in the village of Thornton, Merseyside.
Within the boundaries of historic county of Lancashire and situated to the north east of Crosby, Close to points of interest like Crosby beach, Formby beach and nature reserve.
The team are well established and it benefits from locals and visitors to the site.
It would be suitable for a person looking for a new challenge, with the drive to take this business to the next level. It has potential to deliver a more sustainable level of trade. The right person would ideally be passionate about locals and people focused, it needs the hands on approach to keep with the traditional feel and atmosphere that the sites exudes.
High food turnover experience is an essential requirement, along with attention to detail and high brand standards.
The team have been long standing and are an asset to the business.
